Is this cable compatible with apple 12 inch MacBook computer?

If it has a USB-C port, this will work as a USB-C to USB-A. Though, I don't know what you'd end up plugging the USB-A end into, since those are usually only found on computers and not on peripherals. If you want to attach a peripheral, you should probably look for a an adapter that's USB-C male to USB-A female.
