Great case
Pros: Size, I was worried but this case fits my MSI 7970 and Corsair H80i quite nicely. Sides are easily removable so all areas are accessible; case is a pleasure to work on. The aluminum body panels are a decent gauge and do not flex. The unusual motherboard mounting is brilliant and other manufacturers should take note. The cooling properties of this box are rivaled only by its siblings in Silverstone's Fortress line.
Cons: The only two issues I have are minor and not worth deducting an egg. The first is the placement of the power button; it's on the top of the case and is quite easy to push inadvertently while reaching over the top to fiddle with cables. The other issue is QC in the packing department. Case was meant to come with a specific set of screws, standoffs, and fasteners; it came instead, with a random bag of mismatched screws and no MB standoffs at all. Luckily, I've accumulated a rather large collection of these items over the years so it was not a problem for me but if one does not have standoffs handy, it may be a troublesome build.
Overall Review: So far, I am VERY happy with this case and would choose it again without question.
Pros: Cable works very well and is quite long, giving me many placement options. I have only one device that requires this particular connector (an external hard drive case) and I lost my only cable. I found this configuration (USB A male to USB A male) surprisingly hard to find; the young fellow in the blue shirt at the big-box store even told me there was no such cable; quite odd considering I was replacing one that I already owned. Thanks to Newegg I found the cable at a great price.
Cons: None at all; it's just a cable.
Overall Review: I have, in the past, had amazing service with Newegg's standard shipping. I live in NYC so things that ship from Newegg's New Jersey warehouse arrive in 2 days, often overnight. This purchase was my first time opting for the 'Super-Saver' free shipping and I will not be using that method again as it took 9 days to travel from NJ to NYC (It's true; you get what you pay for).
Pros: Works quite well with Windows 8. Plugged it in and it recognized my devices immediately. Pairing is fast and connection is strong up to 15' away (I have not attempted anything further than that).
Cons: None as of yet.
Overall Review: This adapter utilizes Toshiba technology so it works well with later model Wii controllers and the Dolphin emulator.
Stupid fast
Pros: Inexpensive (thanks Newegg), ridiculously fast, and rock solid. Recognized by UEFI BIOS and Windows 8 with no problems at all.
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: I purchased 2 of these kits (32GB in 4x 8GB modules) and paired them with an ASUS F2A85 mobo and AMD A10-6800K. Windows boots in under 3 seconds and I can run Steam, and Origin, and Uplay games, VLC movies, and a Firefox browser session simultaneously with no slowdown or hiccups.
Good keyboard choice
Pros: This is my first wireless keyboard and I like it. The proximity and ambient light sensors are nice, dimming or shutting off keyboard light as needed. Wireless works across the room so I can port computer out to big TV for family gaming. Battery is shocking; I've been using it for about a month now and have not plugged it into the charger yet, still on the factory charge.
Cons: The white bezel on the bottom is aesthetically disappointing to see on an otherwise black keyboard but not enough of a con to dock an egg.
Overall Review: I wish Logitech would make a mechanical switch version of this board. This board, with Cherry switches, would be the pinnacle of keyboard delight.
Decent controller
Pros: Works quite well. Controller is recognized by almost all the games I play without hassle, some need a little tweaking.
Cons: Controller does not pair with Logitech's unifying software so I still need a USB for keyboard/mouse and another one for this controller.
