It comes equipped with a soldered-on Intel Core i7 8550U processor (four cores, eight threads), has two SO-DIMM slots with max. 32GB DDR4 memory support, and accommodates a 2.5" SSD/HDD plus an M.2 2280 SSD.
Although coming in a tiny footprint, this barebone system is loaded with a rich variety of I/O ports comparable to a tower PC, like HDMI and miniDisplayPort outputs, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB 3.1 Type-C, and a built-in dual-array microphone making for easy interaction with Cortana.
