Step into the ring with Fight Night Champion! The fifth and latest installment in Electronic Arts’ famous boxing franchise is finally available for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.
This outing sees a wide variety of enhancements, including better and more fluid control over the delivery of punches. This speeds up the pace of each bout, as opposed to the previous system of stiff analog stick movements.
What really helps Fight Night Champion stand out is the brand new Champion Mode. Here you can take part in the fully realized story of fictional boxer Andre Bishop. Players will lead Bishop from small fights in prison to earning a gold medal at the amateur world championships. It’s a classic boxing underdog story with just enough clichés and excitement to give every fight a little extra meaning. It’s very effective.
