Vive accessories, Newegg, VR acessories,

As the VR market grows, it’s inevitable that we’re going to see more and more peripherals to go along with our head mounted displays, controllers, and tracking stations. Here are some of the most interesting HTC Vive accessories on the market.

7. Hyperkin Silicone Vive HMD Gelshell (Red)

Want to add some color to your Vive, or just protect it from scratches? Hyperkins Gelshell HMD covers fit the bill. They’re also available in Green, White, and Grey.

6. Hyperkin Silicone Vive Wand Gelshell (Grey)

If you want to protect your wand controllers, Hyperkin makes a protective sleeve, but this only comes in grey. Other companies make black versions.

5.Vive Face Cushions

If you want to share your headset with friends, it might be handy to have some of these replacement foam cushions around for hygiene purposes.

4. Fovitec Light Stand Kit

You might be saying, “this isn’t a VR accessory! These are light poles!” And you’d technically be correct. However, Vive’s “Lighthouse” sensors feature the same standard ¼” threaded mounting hole that you might see on any given camera. This means that you can use the Lighthouses with pretty much any camera tripod or light stand. These stands go up really high, which makes them ideal for mounting the sensors when you can’t drill holes in the wall.

3. HTC Vive Deluxe Audio Strap

Add some sound to your VR experience! The deluxe audio strap integrates seamlessly with the Vive to add in-sync audio output, and also comes with an upgraded tensioning system to improve head-fit for the whole HMD.

2. TPCAST Wireless Adapter

Cut the cord! TPCASTS’s wireless adapter removes the Vive’s default 3-in-1 cable, which is one of the most restrictive aspects of the whole system. Never again will you have to worry about tripping over VR cables and damaging yourself or your equipment.

1. HP OMEN P1000

This last one technically isn’t an accessory, but it will change the way you use VR. The P100 is already a capable gaming PC, complete with an Nvidia GTX1080, and Intel Core i7, and 16GB of RAM. So what makes this compact PC so great for VR? Two words: Backpack Mode. The P1000 can lift out of its upright docking station and instead clip on to a battery-powered backpack harness. Each battery lasts for about an hour, and the whole backpack system weighs about 9 pounds. You’ll definitely get your workout done this way.
